Through the year we will be scheduling regular Tutored Tasting Evenings as well as numerours 'Meet The Brewer events.
Unless specified otherwise, the Tutored tasting evenings will be hosted by Leigh Norood. Leigh is a member of the British Guild of Beer Writers and is a judge on the International Beer Challenge.
*Thursday May 24th – ‘World Beer Tour’ (7.30pm start)

Taking a look at six of the great brewing nations of the world, this
evening will provide an insight into what has made beer the third most
popular drink on the planet (after water and tea). A representative beer
from each country will be tasted whilst the background of that
countries’ brewing pedigree is investigated. Tickets are £14.00 a head
(includes a cheese supper) and are now available.

Thursday June 21st – ‘UK Beer – from Lands’ End to John
O’Groats (7.30pm start)
This evening will present an entertaining and informative look at the
various styles of beers currently being produced by some of the finest
breweries in the UK. Six beers have been selected to illustrate the
journey from Cornwall to Scotland. Tickets, which are available now, are
£12.50 and include a cheese supper.

Friday July 13th - 'Belgian Abbey + Trappist Beer' Tasting Evening (7.45pm Start)
This will not be an evening for the faint-hearted as we shall be looking at the traditionally very strong beers produced by the Belgian Abbey Breweies, specifically focussing on those produced by the trappist monks. Six beers will be tasted to show a representative cross section of these classic beers. Tickets are now available at £15.00 – includes a cheese supper
Thursday August 9th - 'The New Punks of the Brewing World' Tasting Evening (7.30pm Start)
For our second look at world beers in the current tasting series i am going to be concentrating on some of the new craft breweries that have been setting the beer world alight both in Europe and elsewhere. The identities of which countries and breweries will be represented will be very much influenced by availability in the coming months, but you will be tasting six of the most stunning beers ever. As per usual there will be a cheese supper and the cost of the evening will be £14.00 per head. Tickets available now. .
